| Zuo Qiting,male, born in 1967, graduated from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering in 2000 with a Doctor's degree. Now he is professor of environment and water conservancy school of Zhengzhou University, deputy director of the Institute of Water Resources and Water Economy, member of International Association of Hydrology Science, member of Youth Work Committee of China Water Conservancy Society, member of Water Resources Speciality Committee of China Society of Natural Resources, senior member of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, executive council member of Henan Society of Geology, visiting research fellow and doctoral tutor of our Institute. He is mainly engaged in teaching of and research on hydrology, water environment and resources management, eco-environment planning and control. He has sponsored or participated in more than 30 research projects including the special topic in the State key foundation research and development plan project, special topic in the State Ninth Five-year Plan technical breakthrough project, national natural science foundation, Henan provincial natural science foundation, Henan key research projects, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region key research projects and horizontal topics. He won two second prizes for provincial scientific progress and published five monologues and over 70 academic papers. He has made achievements of theoretical innovation significance and great application value in scientific research on modern hydrology theory and application, hydrological ecology coupling system and quantification of sustainable water resources management. |
