| Mao Hanying, research fellow, graduated from the Geography Department of Nanjing University majoring in economic geography in 1961 and in the same year joined the Institute of Geography under the CAS; from 1986 to 1987 he joined the Geography Department of the former Leningrad University (St. Petersburg University) as a senior visiting scholar; in 1992 he was approved as doctoral tutor by the Academic Degree Committee under the State Council. Now he is vice-president of Regional Science Association of China, chairman of Human Geography Specialty Committee of Geographical Society of China, senior research fellow in the Institute of Geography Science and Resource Research under the CAS, academic instructor of innovation base, expert team leader of Urban and Regional Planning & Design Center, visiting research fellow and doctoral tutor in Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography under the CAS. |
