| Wang Quan, male,Han nationality, born in July of 1970, Chinese nationality, PhD. In 1991 he graduated from Hangzhou University(now Zhejiang University) with a BA degree; in 1994 he was awarded Master's degree by Changchun Institute of Geography under the CAS; in 1997 he got his doctorate from the Institute of Botany under the CAS; in 1997 he earned post-doctorate from National Institute of Environmental Studies in Japan. In 2001 he was a research scientist in Bayreuth University in Germany. From 2005 up to now, he is associate professor in Shizuoka University, Japan, mainly engaged in research on global change and remote sensing application. From June of 2008 up to the present, he is engaged as guest research fellow in Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography under the CAS. |
