董云社，男，汉族，1961年生，博士，研究员，博士生导师。中国科学院新疆生态与地理研究所党委书记、副所长。兼任国家自然科学基金委员会专家评审组成员，中国环境科学学会理事，Journal of Arid Land等中英文学术期刊编委。曾在澳大利亚堪培拉联邦科工组织土壤研究所、德国马普化学所、德国美因茨大学地理研究所等单位长期开展合作研究；曾获新疆生产建设兵团“兵团优秀援疆干部”荣誉称号、记三等功一次，历任新疆农垦科学院副院长、中科院新疆分院副院长、国际SCI期刊Chinese Science Bulletin特邀编辑和《科学通报》等学术期刊编委等职务。   学历教育：   德国美因茨大学理学博士（2000年），德国美因茨大学理学硕士（1998年），西北农林科技大学理学学士（1983年）。
