| Lei Jiaqiang, male, born in July of 1961, a native of Shaanxi Gaoling, Han nationality, a Ph D, deputy director of Xinjiang Institute of Ecology & Geography under the CAS, research fellow and member of academic/degree evalution committee, head of National Field Research Station at Celei for Desert Ecosystem, director of Technical Research Center for Xinjiang Desert-Oasis Eco-development and director of Prospecting & Design Institute for Desert Engineering. He was graduated from Northwest University majoring in geography in 1982 and in July of the same year came to work at our institute till now; a postgraduate in physical geography from Institute of Geography under the CAS in 1989; a Ph D from the Cold & Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute under the CAS in 2004. In 1995 he was appointed associate research fellow and in 2001 promoted to research fellow. Now he is mainly engaged in the researches on natural geography in arid region, desert environment and prevention and control of desertification. |
